Community management update
Posted on Feb 9th, 2017
This message is sent on the behalf of the Village at Quarterpath Board of Directors.

We would like to inform you of a change in community management.  Jennifer Smith has been promoted to Regional Manager of the CBM Williamsburg office.  That position requires additional duties, which means Jennifer must reduce the size of her management portfolio.

Melinda Settle-Harris has been selected to be the manager for the community.  She will work alongside Jennifer during the transition.  Jennifer will continue to be the main POC for the community’s current legal matters due to their complexities.

Melinda will begin managing the day-to-day operations effective immediately.  Her email address is msharris@1cbm.com.  The office phone number remains the same 757-706-3019.

Snow Removal--Who Does What?
Posted on Dec 21st, 2016
About this time every year we start to receive questions about snow removal in the community.  Here is a quick explanation.

The HOA owns the private alleyways.  A snow plowing only contract is in place to address these areas. There must be at least 4" accumulation before plowing begins.  The streets and sidewalks are not the HOA's responsibility.

The streets and sidewalks that run parallel to the streets are owned by the City of Williamsburg and as such, are maintained by them.

The sidewalks that extend from each home's front door to the City sidewalk are that homeowner's property and responsibility.

Mowing Services
Williams Landscape, our landscape contractor, will notify us when mowing is canceled for a particular week due to rain.  We will post these outages here.  Also, we would ask that you assist the mowers by moving large furniture or other items off the grass before the mowers arrive on Tuesday. It is not the landscaper’s responsibility to remove personal items from the grass.  They have been instructed to not remove any personal property. You may communicate any issues you have with our mowing service via the contact us page.

Welcome New Neighbors
More than a destination at the end of the day, a community is a place you want to call home and where you feel at home. There is a difference between living in a community and being part of that community. Being part of a community means sharing with your neighbors a common desire to promote harmony and contentment.

Welcome to The Village At Quarterpath. We encourage all residents to participate in making our Community the best that it can be for all of us.
