Which Web Page? |
|
In addition to this site, you also may be using a web site built for our neighborhood by Town Management, our neighborhood management company.
Why are there two?
THIS SITE is our neighborhood's original site, maintained by a homeowner volunteer. It's got...
§ Leasing Rules
§ Architectural Guidelines and the ARC Modification Request Form
§ Current HOA Documents
§ Trash Pick Up Calendar
§ Landscape Schedule
§ Board Member Information
§ Links to the various Departments for the City of Williamsburg
§ Link to Town Management and their website
...and much more.
§ Homeowner Announcements
§ E-pay HOA dues and how to set up auto payment
§ Submit Homeowner Complaints or Issues
Note that Town Management's portal site was upgraded in January and prior links to it no longer work.

Lawn Services |
|
US Lawns, the contractor for our lawn service, provides the following description of what they do and how often (paraphrased for length):
- Mow all accessible turf areas on a schedule, during the growing season. During extended rainy or dry periods mowing will take place as conditions dictate. Grass areas our mowing machinery cannot reach will be trimmed as needed to a height consistent with the mowed turf. All walks and paved areas littered in the maintenance progress will be air blown to maintain a neat appearance.
- Remove litter in the turf and bed areas on maintenance visit. Excess litter or debris will be brought to the attention of the property manager and may result in an additional charge for removal.
- Tending to the trash and doggie stations during the service visits.
- Edge-trim all walk and curb areas on every other mowing visit or as inspection requires.
- Edge plant beds every other mowing visit or as inspection requires.
- Weed plant beds as often as plant health and the highest level of order requires, using chemical or mechanical means. We create a 4-inch dead zone around the rear of all buildings, fences, headstones, patios and vertical obstructions to avoid string trimmer damage.
- Shear qualifying shrubs and hedges to maintain desired shape and appearance up to 12 feet in height. Rejuvenation or corrective pruning, storm damage or pruning in a matter that is not keeping with the nature growth pattern of the plants is not included and performed at an additional cost, upon approval.
- Apply pre-emergent herbicides for weed control in beds. Spring clean-up will be performed at the beginning of the growing season to ensure the property is in a neat and clean condition.
- Leaf removal to maintain a neat appearance on the property. Fallen leaves will be removed from the maintained areas using all means possible including blowing, raking, vacuuming, and mowing or mulching. Weather conditions may shorten or lengthen the process.

Parking at Corners |
|
Our trash collection driver(s) report having a tougher time getting into our streets and alleys when we park our vehicles close to the corners. Although parking is limited in our neighborhood, keep the garbage trucks in mind when you park; don't crowd the corners. If you were ever to swap paint with a garbage truck, you'd probably end up with more of a souvenir than the truck would... so please give him the room he needs to do his job. |
